We are located in and around Medford, Oregon, USA. Our home water is the Rogue River that flows from the Cascade Mountain Range near Crater Lake to the Pacific Ocean. We are blessed to be in this wonderful local and value our resources and we strive to protect them.
A Riparian Zone is the ribbon of vegetation adjacent to a shoreline or stream bank. The grasses, shrubs and trees are typically different varieties than the surrounding area. The riparian plant life is able to tolerate or needs a wetter environment. Usually these areas provide a home for an abundant variety of wildlife. Many creatures live their entire lives completely within a riparian zone. More info at this link http://rogueflyfishers.org/riparian.htm
