ODFW Volunteer Angler Education Instructor Training

ODFW Volunteer Angler Education Instructor Training

Ryan Battleson (ODFW) sent us the following email.  Give him a call or email if you are interested!

Greetings all,

I wanted to let members of your clubs know about an upcoming ODFW Angler Education Training offered on Feb 12 at my office in Central Point (see below for address). We’ll likely be doing another training in March or April too (but no hard date yet). If folks are interested in becoming a certified Volunteer Angler Education Instructor, attending one of these trainings is necessary.  I would highly encourage anybody that has even thought of it in the past to attend, as you will also be networked into a group within the Rogue Valley with other anglers, interested in passing down their knowledge to the next generation.

Would you please forward this email and the attached flyer on to your respective list serves.  The deadline to sign up is actually tomorrow!  Folks have to contact Jenny Ammon (jenny.l.ammon@state.or.us 503-947-6081) to sign up.  We sent a press release out about a month ago, but I don’t know how many folks get those (also attached).  I will be present at the training and give an overview of the STEP program and volunteer activities as well.

Thanks,
