Annual WINE DINNER at Daisy Creek Vineyard

Saturday August 12^th

The DEADLINE to get your reservation in is August 2^nd.

Seating is limited and reservations are required.

Payment is due in advance to reserve your seat.  Cost is $25 per person.

This Wine Dinner takes the place of the regular dinner meeting in August. No other meeting will be held.

The Rogue River Watershed Council is doing work on the riparian zone of Gilbert Creek, a tributary of the Rogue River in the Grants Pass are.

There are multiple dates for volunteer work.

John and Harry, Some new tricks

Fourth of July is when you might watch a parade, burn a burger, eat too much, maybe drink an extra beer with some friends. Yup, sounds about right.  What does our own John Macdairmid do, he is an entry in the Ashland parade.  He mounts a hoop in the sunroof of his vehicle, then he hitches up his drift boat, and gets Harry Foster to drive.  In the parade he stands in the boat and casts through the hoop while traveling down the street with Harry driving.  John Steinbeck probably couldn't have conjured up that image.
